Grand Show: "Descendants of the Sun" 18:30 - (doors open at 18:00) at Millennium Hall
"Decendants of the Sun" is a popular Korean drama that tells a sweet love story of a Korean soldier and doctor who hold on to their love despite hard and difficult times, strengthening their bond. This is a fine portrayal of a Korea love story, also showing the spirit of a Korean soldier through wonderful scenes and fantastic performances of Korean martial arts.
The show will also feature different Korean close-order formation drills, which are a military parade-type formation where soldiers move together in a tightly coordinated set of movements, and Taekwondo, a traditional Korean martial art developed by various martial artists during the 1940s and 1950s, incorporating elements of Karate and indigenious Korean martial arts. Finally, we will include military uniforms that show our country's cultural history and characteristics. Since 1954, the uniforms of Korea have changed over time in different ways. The show will have different types of uniform on display in different, brilliant ways.
