[YouTube Livestream Added] Online RCAPS Current Research Seminar - The Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Pandemic and the Responses of the International Society

Speakers:

Prof. SATO Yoichiro (College of Asia Pacific Studies), Prof. GHOTBI Nader (College of Asia Pacific Studies), Assistant Prof. HIRANO Miharu (College of Asia Pacific Studies)

Outline:
This seminar will feature three professors with backgrounds in medical research, international security, and international law discussing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, national responses to the crisis, and their implications. Their brief commentaries on national responses/strategies in countering the pandemic, political narratives of the pandemic and their reasons, and international legal implications of the national policies will be followed by a Q&A session and open discussions.

Japanese (no interpreting will be provided)

Seating capacity:

150 people can participate via the Zoom meeting, selected on a first come, first served basis. The YouTube livestream is open to an unlimited number of people. Please note that only Zoom attendees will be able to ask questions during the Q&A portion of the seminar.
