“Mob Dance”12:15～12:20 @ Fountain Area
The parade/mob dance will feature traditional and contemporary Filipino dances. Students wearing Filipino clothing will be performing in this event. This event will serve as the opening act for the week-long festivities.
“Karaoke Challenge”18:30～20:00 @ Pacific Café
A singing competition will be held with the use of a karaoke machine and participants will be judged by APU professors and others.
“Outbreak APU”19:30～21:00 @ Campus Grounds
Outbreak APU is a fun athletic event with a twist. Participating students will be involved in a race around campus surrounded by zombies who will try to capture the runners.
“Grand Show” 18:30～20:00 (doors open 18:00) @ Millennium Hall
The highlight of all multicultural weeks, the Philippine Week grand show will feature a full production theatrical performance that will be held on June 12 to coincide with the celebration of the Philippine Independence. This event will be held in APU’s Millennium Hall and aired live via Ustream (being August 1, 2018, playback via Ustream is no longer available) making it accessible anywhere in the world.
“Pinoy Cafe” (Wednesday - Friday) 14:00～17:00 @ Cafeteria
The triangle area inside the cafeteria (the area near the cafeteria exit) will be transformed into a Filipino-themed café where students can try traditional Filipino coffee, tea, and sweets for free. The café will also feature a Filipino art exhibit.
