The parade showcases many traditional Sri Lankan dance acts following a display of Sri Lankan traditional fire breathing that will finish off with a flag procession.
“Musical Eve” 18:30-19:30 at Fountain
A collection of songs and musical accolades accompanied by Sri Lankan dances as an occasion to celebrate Sri Lankan culture with our fellow brethren at APU.
"Sri Lankan Sports" 14:00-16:00 at Lawn behind the library
A host of Sri Lankan traditional games like 'Goni Paneema', to give our friends a chance to enjoy the thrill of Sri Lankan traditional sports.
"Sri Lanka Japan Sustainability Symposium" 15:00-17:00 at Administration Building (Building A) 3rd floor, Conference Room 5
A platform to bring together Japanese businesses and Sri Lankan businesses to enable discussions on shaping the future of the relations on a sustainable overview.
“Sri Lankan Week Grand Show 2016” 18:30- (doors open 18:00) at Millennium Hall
The theme is based on the Tsunami disaster that struck and shook Sri Lanka in the year 2004. Many cultural songs, dances, and a drama highlight the real story of how Sri Lankans eventually recovered from the disaster.
